Mechanical Integrity Structural Engineer (I/II)
Where will you work: Onsite – Regina, Colonsay, Belle Plaine, or Esterhazy, Saskatchewan
Working with the Lead Structural Engineer and site operations teams, the mechanical integrity engineer will support the structural asset health program through inspection, evaluation, and design. The engineer will provide field support to construction and maintenance teams to promote effective and efficient execution of repairs and modifications to structural assets across Canadian sites.
This role will be based out of our Regina office or Colonsay site and support our potash mines in Belle Plaine, Colonsay and Esterhazy.

What you’ll do?

  • On site structural inspection, analysis, design of solutions to support site Maintain, improve and report on the inspection program.
  • Contribute to the prioritization of maintenance work based on risk assessment.
  • Inspection report reviews, prepare drawings & technical documents.
  • Structural database management.
  • Safety, training, development.
  • Travel 15-25%.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with major in Civil/ Structural Engineering.
  • 1-3 years in structural design or repair preferably in industrial plants.
  • Knowledge of structural analysis and design codes of steel, concrete & wood, knowledge of other construction materials is an asset.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks and progress department goals under a moderate level of supervision.
  • Ability to work with diverse team in an industrial setting.
