Description:
Greenlight Innovation is the industry leader in fuel cell testing and manufacturing equipment. We are working closely with our customers to develop and build the next generation of hydrogen fuel cell and electrolyser technology.
We are growing and hiring a Manufacturing Support Engineer or Specialist to join the Manufacturing Support Engineering Team. This role is responsible for ensuring support to manufacturing within expected time frames. This involves design reviews and providing on-going support on engineering-related requests throughout the manufacturing phase of each project. Responsibilities include:
- Review mechanical detail design drawings to ensure adherence to Greenlight design guidelines and cross-checks.
- Conduct design reviews with manufacturing supervisors on a project basis.
- Provide manufacturing with guidance and troubleshoot to ensure adherence to expected time frames.
- Perform root cause analysis and define corrective action plans.
- Report mechanical drawings quality KPIs.
- Liaise with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
- Monitor project deliverables and co-ordinate accordingly with other teams.
- Other duties as required.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working in production, or industrial engineering.
- Design experience with strong proficiency in SolidWorks including modeling, sheet metal, assembly aids, and proficiency in GD&T.
- Strong spatial visualization ability and skill in designing equipment for manufacturability.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of designing equipment or systems for manufactured products and reviewing system design outputs (P&ID).
- Experience designing large assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Product development, testing, and troubleshooting experience would be an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Annual Salary: $70,000 to $85,000.
Responsibilities:
