WHO WE ARE

Genoa Design International has become one of the most sought-after production design firms in the North American shipbuilding market. Because of our continued growth in both Canada and the US, we are seeking skilled Mechanical/Piping designers to join our team.
All experience levels are considered, but the ideal candidates will have shipbuilding production design and 3D modelling experience in designing mechanical systems for various types of vessels. Leadership is also a critical part of this role, and the successful candidate will be expected to strengthen the team by sharing their knowledge, coaching and mentoring.

  • Incorporating supports, spools, penetrations, and instrumentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, classification rules (DNV, Lloyds/GL, etc.), design guidelines, and client-specific standards.
