We’re looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer who is excited about working on semiconductor projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects at some of the world’s most state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. You will be accountable for maintaining high standards of excellence and delivering projects within scope, budget, and schedule. The position will report to the Portland, OR office but remote locations in the U.S will be considered.
You will work in a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to successfully deliver on the design, development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products for building HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Systems. You will ensure project requirements are defined and understood, risks and opportunities are managed, and schedules and budgets are met. Your direction, guidance, and support will help our teams to achieve excellent.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop, define, and execute mechanical engineering project plans
- Determine scope and parameters for project design and implementation
- Establish requirements, costs, and schedule targets
- Identify project responsibilities, assemble team, and delegate critical resources
- Monitor project schedule from initiation through completion by providing support and direction

Here’s what you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer Registration (PE)
- At least 5 years of practical application of mechanical engineering, including HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, piping, boiler, chiller, or related mechanical building systems
- At least 2 years of experience in the semiconductor industry REQUIRED
- At least 4 years of project management experience managing the scope, budget, and schedule of engineering projects
- Effective communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
