Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Apply mechanical knowledge to deliver continuous improvement in principles and problem-solving techniques and asset reliability through the detection and elimination of defects. You will repair and perform preventive maintenance to ensure efficient operations while taking a proactive approach to new equipment installations. In this role, you will partner with the team on tasks ranging from simple part replacement, advanced troubleshooting and preventive/predictive maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years relevant work experience

*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*

  • Maintenance process management
  • Background in rotating equipment, seals, piping, pumps, fans, blowers and material handling equipment.
  • Experience creating complex tests and analysis.
  • Predictive maintenance technologies experience.
  • Experience with SAP.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement moderately complex reliability excellence activities.
  • Prioritize production to enhance engineering/manufacturing reliability.
  • Develop, design, and install maintenance programs in alignment with manufacturing procedures.
  • Prepare technical reviews and collaborate with cross-functional departments on new equipment reliability specifications.
  • Identify and eliminate processes that inhibit production reliability.
  • Collaborate with and provide guidance on maintenance repairs.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision.
  • Other duties as assigned.
