Wood Minerals & Metals team is currently delivering critical metals projects, including Copper, Nickel, Lithium, Vanadium, Rare Earths, and Base Metals. This portfolio of projects ranging from studies through to EPCM packages working on developments in Australia and internationally – Australia through to Europe, Middle east Africa and Asia

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Functional Manager and dual line with nominated EPCM Engineering Manager. In this role you will join the function team supporting varied FEED packages, progressing to a project specific role in the coming months. You will be an integral role in our team, bringing your knowledge insight and passion for delivering quality and efficiency four our clients developments

You will be responsible for duties such as, but not limited to: -

  • Preparation of deliverables in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements
  • The overall production of mechanical engineering deliverables such as specification, calculations, technical evaluations, reports and drawings
  • Providing input into layout development
  • Resolving technical issues, in a clear and concise manner
  • Ensuring the correct and relevant information is disseminated to mechanical team (engineers and designers) and other disciplines, in a clear and concise manner
  • Technical equipment package management, including the review and approval of vendor data
  • Providing technical support across the business including to on-site construction, estimating, procurement and project departments
  • Overseeing project requirements and assisting junior and lesser experienced engineers - Liaising with client
