We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to work on a water infrastructure project with Central Coast Council based at Mardi.

As a Site Engineer at Abergeldie, you will provide your technical expertise across a range of projects and support the Project Manager to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. Day to day your responsibilities will include.

  • In conjunction with the Project Engineer, Project Manager and Supervisor prepare daily programming of site activities.
  • Provide the Project Engineer / Project Manager with relevant documentation received from either the client or authorities in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and accurate daily diary.
  • Monitor and track statutory requirements (e.g. Local Council, EPA etc.) are adhered to on site at all times.
  • Raise requisitions and purchase orders for materials and services required for the project in accordance with Contract specifications.
  • Track and monitor that materials delivered to site are checked and verified for correct quantity, quality and type ordered.
