An incredible opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Superintendent to join a leading EPC engineering and maintenance provider, where you will be responsible for helping to support customers across the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables and food & beverage markets.

your duties and responsibilities will be

• As a Mechanical Superintendent, you will prepare Mechanical & Piping engineering work packages from plant information and specifications. (petrochemical refinery)
• Ensure that job methods are safe and comply with known good practice.
• Preparation of risk assessments.
• Prepare work plans and lead works to planning specifications
• Assist in setting up and managing systems for controlling workflow within the area team and produce supporting documentation.
• Assist in materials resources and support services.

you will have the following skills and experience

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Superintendent or a similar role in the construction or engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical & piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring project deadlines are met.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them on the job site.
