Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Complete pre and post sale inspections including test drives
- Complete general shop maintenance, pulling up vehicles into the shop, and test driving vehicles for diagnosis of repairs required
- Deliver of general maintenance services by conducting oil and fluid changes, tire changes, general vehicle inspections
- Provide frame inspection services by conducting inspections of vehicle undercarriages to ensure no cracks, bends or other damage exists
- Assist with provision of general repair services by conducting general mechanical inspections and repairs including brake jobs, exhaust system jobs, front end alignments, ball joints, air conditioning, maintenance of auction vehicles and external referrals for transmission work.
- Provide frame inspection services by conducting inspections of vehicle undercarriages to ensure no cracks, bends or other damage exists
- Assist other technicians with complex / large jobs to expand your knowledge and experience
- May assist with sourcing parts & providing quotes to customer
- May assist with completing work orders including parts & labor entries
EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
- 1-3 years’ experience in repair and service of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and components on a variety of vehicles.
- Position suitable for 2nd or 3rd year apprentice (could be overseas experience, fully certified in another country)
- Valid drivers’ abstract
- Basic computer skills & able to utilization of smartphone required
