MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN - KNOWSLEY - £39,488 - £46,456 + COMPANY VAN

Are you passionate about hands-on-work and seeking a dynamic role where no two days are the same?
We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team, where you’ll tackle diverse tasks such as a range of Flow Stopping Methods, Corrosion Repairs and General Mechanical hands-on activities. As well as this participates in our Emergency Call Out Service Team and respond to any Gas Emergencies on the below 7Bar Network.
What can you bring with you to set you up for success, ideally you will possess experience working on the UK’s Gas Transmission and Distribution Networks, have past demonstratable experience in being able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
As a minimum we would like to see you possessing a EUSR SHEA Gas qualification and have knowledge of Safe Control of Operations (SCO).

Because this role works so closely with the UK Critical National Infrastructure it does requires National Security Vetting and for us in particular that means you cannot have a criminal record and in the last 5 years you cannot have been out of the UK for cumulatively 6 months or greater than.
