YOUR PROFILE:

Master degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical or Mechatronics;
Basic knowledge of control theory, structural dynamics, NVH, High Voltage applications is essential;
1y experience in in testing, programming and scripting experience is essential;
Matlab knowledge is required;
Experience with Transmission, Visual Basic, PUMA Open 2 NVH is a plus;
Knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
You are an independent, positive person with a can-do mentality and have no problem working under pressure and solving complex issues;
You are a critical person who dares to challenge established ways of working, is continuously on the look-out for improvements and is committed to implement them.

As a Mechanical Test Engineer, your responsibilities can include the following:
Improve existing tests and develop new tests with a focus on assessing the NVH performance of our conventional, hybrid and electric powertrains;
Write test scripts and sequences for automatic tests on different platforms;
Take ownership for test rigs to ensure qualitative operation and to pursue continuous efficiency improvement;
Improve existing code and take ownership for the Early Failure Detection (EFD) system;
Closely co-operate with and co-ordinate between test engineering, NVH engineering, test rigs operators and various other R&D departments;
Be the first contact person in case of operational issues of the test rigs;
Analyse and resolve issues in a structured manner and avoid future reoccurrence;
Perform Measurement System Analysis and Capability Studies to prove the performance of the test rigs when needed.
