Mechatronics Engineer

Location: Singapore AMK
Salary: $3,200 to $4,000
12-month Contract with possible conversion to Permanent position, Full-time

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Designing, developing and Implement electro-mechanical systems and mechatronic devices
• Creating automated systems and the software to control them
• Design embedded software to be used within automated and AI system
• Testing and commissioning the system
• Conducting research, documenting findings, and presenting reports at meetings
• Developing design documents for mechanical parts and final products
• Identifying areas of weakness in the production line or finished products and making recommendations for improvement

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Precision Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience designing mechanical parts using CAD, drafting blueprints and manufacturing those
• Experience in designing electric circuits in industrial setup
• Experience in robot control systems
• Programming Skills in C++ and python (ROS is a plus)
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and creative thinking skills
• Ability to work in a team or independently
• a proactive attitude towards self-improvement, learning, and problem solving
• Experience in industrial setting is an advantage
• Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills for both written and verbal English
