QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering preferred; mechanical or electrical engineering considered.
- Minimum 7 years of Engineering Design experience with proficiency in Solidworks 3D and AutoCAD 2D.
- Skilled in independent work and thrive in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels, including management, customers, and vendors.
- Strong technical, analytical, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Structured Problem-Solving methods.
- Enjoy frequent travel, including visits to Envipco Engineering offices in Germany and the USA.
- Proficient in English; additional proficiency in Romanian or German is valued.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance electro-mechanical systems.
- Generate mechanical design specs and 3D models using CAD programs.
- Draft electronic specs and 2D harness drawings.
- Adhere to Envipco Engineering processes and support supply chain validation.
- Lead DFM and quality projects, identifying production weaknesses and suggesting improvements.
- Provide input for process development and coordinate design changes for manufacturing challenges.
- Offer engineer design support to resolve manufacturing issues collaboratively.
- Stay updated on new technologies and actively engage in continuous improvement projects.
