Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Degree qualified - Software/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • C & C++ coding
  • Ability to communicate to a multi-cultural work force.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice to customer sites.
  • Understanding of embedded controls product design/ development.
  • Experience with Linux, QT-designer, embedded systems, graphics interfacing, communication linking, and motor control
  • Understanding of electronics & circuit logic.
  • Ability to manage projects, work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
  • Yocto based Linux systems.
  • Familiar with linux command line & git et

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer who will be responsible for the design and implementation of software systems housed within tna’s packaging and distribution equipment.
You will be reporting to the Product Development Manager - Software and be based in our head office at Sydney Olympic Park.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Mechatronics Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Design and developing control systems software.
  • Implement first of series machines and their software systems.
  • Communicate with product development team and other developers on a technical level about their work.
