We strive to develop robotic tools, software and process improvements that streamline the development of wireless power technologies found on iPad, iPhone, iPhone accessories, AirPods, and Apple Watch.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design (fixtures and robotics)
  • Experience in designing, integrating and testing CNC machinery or robotics systems.
  • Experience in designing mechanical test fixtures.
  • Experience with mechanical CAD/CAM software (Siemens NX preferred).
  • Ability to proficiently create and interpret mechanical/electrical technical drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of programming (C++, Python).
  • Proficient in prototyping using hand tools and general workshop equipment (drill, lathe, mill, etc.).
  • Self-starter and motivator with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within various levels of the organisation.Excellent organisational and documentation skills.

DESCRIPTION

  • Work closely with other mechanical, electrical and software engineers to deploy end-to-end automation projects. - Collaborate with cross functional teams to generate automation requirements. - Hands-on rapid prototyping. i.e. sourcing, building, and testing low volume prototypes of fixtures and machinery. - Maintenance of mechanical workshop equipment (3D printers, laser cutters, CNC mill etc.). - Iterate upon existing electro-mechanical designs to improve efficiency and scalability. - Create high quality engineering documentation, reports, drawings, and manufacturing BOMs.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors in Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent and relevant industry work experience preferred
