This position will play an integral role in the planning and execution of all retail promotional activity, as well as lead the day to day planning and management of the robust Repco media plan. Reporting to the General Manager Marketing Repco Australia, the role will also be responsible for the Local Area Marketing plans for an aggressive new store rollout and refurbishment plan and all consumer competitions.
While leading a small team, this role will play a critical role in the planning, execution and performance of the retail promotional calendars and will suit a proactive and energetic marketer that is not afraid to be hands-on.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and booking of Repco multi-media activities (including TV, Press, Radio, Digital Platforms) for retail catalogues, weekend sales and other promotional activity.
  • Have extensive knowledge and experience in the use of multi-channel media.
  • Manage all aspects and mechanics of consumer competitions, including Trans-Tasman activity.
  • Manage the details behind multiple concurrent tactical offers and promotions to ensure accurate activations.
  • Play a key role in creative development for sale events and promotions for all types of media.
  • Ensure media schedules deliver to objectives and be agile in optimising mixes when required.
  • Instil a focus on performance and post campaign review.
  • Coordinate LAM activities for refurbs / new to industry sites / new stores nationally.
  • Work closely with merchandise teams and ensure catalogue activities support and enhance existing LAM and promotional activities.
  • Build strong internal and external business relationships.
  • Lead and manage a small team.
