Job Description
Visa is seeking an experienced Media Manager to join the CEMEA Hub Team. As a Media Manager, you will lead media analysis, strategize, and execute key media initiatives across the CEMEA region. You will drive the adoption of best practices and collaborate with global and local marketing teams to enhance marketing ROI. Your role will also involve overseeing media operations, maintaining data hygiene and implementing a first-party data strategy while ensuring brand safety is maintained. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, platform-knowledge and excellent relationship-building abilities, and influential skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Media Analysis: Analyze Visa CEMEA’s paid media, extract and synthesize key learnings across channels and markets, and leverage these insights to inform data-driven decisions for improved media efficiency and ROI
  • Media Planning: Co-design & build full-funnel campaign planning frameworks for key marketing initiatives that yield measurable business outcomes
  • Measurement: Promote Visa CEMEA’s learning agenda across sub-regions to facilitate implementation of measurement studies
  • First Party Data: Assist in the governance and implementation of our first-party data strategy
  • Media Sufficiency: Maintain media sufficiency benchmarks to ensure we deliver best-in-class campaigns
  • Media Best Practice Adoption & Governance: Collaborate with agency partners, platforms and in-market teams to develop collateral such as playbooks and drive adoption of media best practices through ongoing training,
  • Agency Governance and Data Hygiene: Collaborate with our agency partners and oversee media operations including quality control, data hygiene, tracking, monitoring and optimization across the region while ensuring brand safety standards are met
  • Campaign Management: Monitor, analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for paid media campaigns, providing insights and recommendations
  • Stakeholder Management and Relationship Building: Build and manage key relationships with global, regional, and local marketing teams to shape and adapt media initiatives across the region

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • 8-9 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 7 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD)
  • Proven experience in media planning and buying, with deep knowledge of data-driven marketing strategies and digital platforms such as TikTok, Meta and Google
  • Experience planning, executing, and measuring the success of media campaigns
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to comfortably work with data and deliver data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Experience in media operations, maintaining data hygiene and implementing a first-party data strategy while ensuring brand safety is maintained
  • Strong cross-functional experience with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results independently and lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with limited resources while ensuring alignment to key objectives
  • A desire to mentor and develop teams
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse audience of stakeholders and share insights to influence decisions
  • Deep understanding of ROI analysis and performance metrics
  • Proficiency in media analysis tools, data management platforms, MarTech and digital marketing platforms
