QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2.1 third level qualification in a related field, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional organisation.
  • Expert knowledge in Adobe CC ‑ InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop as well as Mac Office, Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in After Effects, CSS, HTML, Final Cut Pro/Premiere.
  • Experience of editing websites and using content management systems.
  • Good understanding of Google Analytics, Google AdWords and Woopra.
  • Understanding of the full end-to-end life cycle of marketing materials from creation to adoption, and suggest and deliver efficiencies in the production cycle.
  • Experience in video recording and editing, blending infographics, motion graphics and footage
  • Ability to design for a mobile and responsive site.
  • Ability to apply creativity and fresh contemporary thought, utilising best design practices and tools.

Responsibilities:

ROLE PROFILE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and energetic person, with strong content creation skills, to join the Marketing department of a rapidly growing financial services company based in Dublin.
The media production associate specialises in the production of videos and other marketing materials, ensuring high quality is maintained and production runs on time. The successful candidate will apply best content creation principles in a variety of media – print, web, video, animation – to deliver compelling and instructive investment communications to the company’s Distributors across Europe. Working in partnership with key internal clients and external third party agencies, the work requires strong videography skills and creative flair, good project management and communication skills, up-to-date knowledge of graphic design and video editing software together with a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
This is a varied role in a major growth industry and will suit an enthusiastic, creative, energetic self-starter, keen to expand their creative horizons. DUTIES

  • Work as part of an existing team and apply skills to achieve departmental objectives, specifically to communicate and promote Mediolanum investment solutions and capabilities to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Shoot, edit and produce video presentations, providing professional guidance to investment professional interviewees.
  • Collaborate to develop concepts, designs, graphics and layouts for marketing materials and websites based on best practice design principles and in accordance with brand guidelines, that is consistent across all platforms and marketing communications.
  • Recommend, select and manage specialist third-party service providers and partners to ensure marketing objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner and deliver value for money.
  • Deliver quality digital and print design support in-house, leveraging existing skills and external partners to develop creative content, adapting it to digital platforms to ensure high design impact and strong content display.
  • Draw and design charts, graphs, illustrations and other artwork according to brand guidelines.
  • Review final layouts of materials generated by the marketing team and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Provide design support and development to the wider marketing team.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the content of Mediolanum’s websites.
