Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Director of User Services, supports the instructional use of internet, audio, and video technologies across campus. Primary responsibilities include maintenance and support of media related equipment in classrooms and public spaces, classroom instruction and campus events.
Duties & Responsibilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires frequent and continuous sitting/moving about, continuous use of fine motor skills, and pushing and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Microsoft operating systems Office 365 required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of two year’s experience in the management and troubleshooting of computer and audiovisual systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of Zoom and video conferencing technologies is highly desirable.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation of audio-visual and computer equipment for faculty and classrooms.
- Provide technical support to the Zoom ITV system for delivery of instruction to regional high school campuses.
- Support events in Town Hall and other public spaces requiring technology resources.
- Support the broadcast and recording of Board Of Trustee meetings through Zoom technology.
- As a member of the User Services team provide support to faculty, staff and students for any issues logged in the campus Help Desk ticket system.
