Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answering phone calls
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Meeting & greeting patients
  • Liaising with Doctors
  • Maintaining waiting room patient flow
  • Invoicing and Medicare processing
  • Collating and distributing correspondence
  • Assisting with general office duties (i.e. filing, mailing)

MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST ROLE

An exciting opportunity has become available for a new receptionist to join our well-supported team. We are currently seeking a casual receptionist to work on a 7 day roster, including days, nights, and weekends. The ideal candidate must have the flexibility to cover sick/annual leave.
Previous experience in a reception role will be highly regarded.

Essential criteria for this position:

  • MUST be available over a 7 day roster & evenings
  • A valid National Police Certificate
  • A valid Working With Children (WWC) Check
  • Proof of up-to-date vaccinations
  • Current drivers licence & own car

Desired Criteria:

  • Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist
  • Experience in Medical Director/Pracsoft
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Outstanding customer service and communication abilities
  • High proficiency skills in typing and data entry
  • Excellent prioritising and time management skills
  • Impeccable communication & interpersonal skills
  • An empathetic nature
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure
