Description:

EDUCATION/ PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Completed scientific (biology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology) or medical studies or
  • Minimum degree level of life science degree plus 3-5 years of professional experience
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a junior medical consultant, preferably in healthcare marketing agency or in medical education

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/ REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent in German
  • Good self-organization and easy to work with deadlines
  • Confident use of the English language
  • Confident handling of MS Office programs
  • Ability to work with precision and high degree of accuracy and reliability
  • Motivated to always continue learning and sharing knowledge
  • Doctorate
  • Knowledge of reference program Veeva PM
  • Writing fluently in English

Responsibilities:

TASKS:

The Medical team’s primary focus is to provide medical consultation and scientific background for campaigns and projects. It also advises clients and agency-members. In this context the medical team always ensures and provides the best possible service related to high science, medical writing, and healthcare marketing.
The Medical Adivsor acts as a consultant who is primarily responsible for ensuring that all requested services are carried out professionally and on time with high level of scientific background, and healthcare marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • A solid understanding of client’s business, brands, and categories
  • Rapid familiarization with new and different indications/ topics (e.g., cardiology, immunology, oncology, and neurology or patient needs) Handling day-to-day business
  • Weighting and translation of medical content into a marketing-oriented communication argumentation in consultation with team
  • Referencing materials and participate in approval process, perform uploads in Veeva approval software
  • Assisting in content conception and creation of materials (print and digital) on a medical-scientific basis in coordination with the team and Group Medical Director
  • Competent contact person for clients
  • Participation in customer meetings
  • Maintaining contact with external medicals and medicals on the client side, possibly with occasional willingness to travel
  • Supporting the development and expansion of an internal medical network
  • Motivated to always continue learning and sharing knowledge
  • Training and further education of team members
