What you will do

The Medical Affairs Assistant, will collaborate in the following activities, for Brazilian Spike Brands topics:

  • Coordinates scientific information and communication to physicians for the areas of its competence (e.g. preparation of scientific documentation, preparation of symposium, management of Medical Education events), verifies the scientific content of research projects deriving from proposals internal or external to the Medical Affairs Department; verifies the technical-scientific contents relating to the promotional activities and materials and of the product printouts.
  • Enhance the collaboration, support, and communication between Medical Affairs and local e/or regional teams for a specific product or group of products and activities.
  • Enhance a trusted collaboration with the external scientific community to facilitate a continuous communication and transfer of knowledge between the company, thought leaders and a wider group of physicians and customers.
  • Support the implementation of activities as outlined in the Local Medical Affairs Scientific Plan under the guidance of the compliance and regulation close cooperation with product development team, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Safety Officer, marketing and professional marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed scientific knowledge in applicable health topics, diseases, and products.
  • CONTRIBUTION and MEDICAL-SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT to the business areas, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and company policies and compliance with current regulations.
  • Collaborate in the development and execution of Medical Education programs.
  • Work on Medical Affairs Materials (slide decks, Q&A…).
  • Support local scientific training needs.
  • Liaise with R&D functions as needed.
  • Ensure HCC and legal requirements are fully understood, appropriately managed and complied with when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects and contracting vendors.

    Qualifications
    What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences - Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nutrition or related fields.
  • 1+ years with experience in a relevant area for this function (e.g. Medical Affairs or Clinical R&D);
  • Advanced English;
  • Computer skills: Knowledge of the Office package (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint).

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Medical Affairs;
  • Intermediate/Advanced Spanish.
