We are looking for a Medical Affairs Manager for Middle East and Turkey. As a Medical Affairs Manager the main purpose of your role will be to build partnerships with external healthcare professionals mainly in the Middle East Region and Turkey, to communicate evidence based critical scientific, technical and development issues relating to Grifols biopharma products which are or will be marketed in your markets.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE
You will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and execute local medical affairs plans in alignment with local business objectives guided by a senior colleague.
- Have collaborative partnernship with Distributors.
- Lead building and maintaining relationships with scientific thought leaders globally.
- Manage the knowledge in your respective area, acting as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders, writing summaries when needed for the country/region.
- Manage scientific events like regional advisory boards or other scientific meetings: symposia, webinars or standalone meetings.
- Provide medical content for medical education programs for clinicians externally and internally.
- Participate in internal training programs to promote medical and scientific understanding of the products in the respective countries.
- Attend local and regional (or global when needed) medical conferences on the respective disease areas and provide reports from these meetings for internal stakeholders.
- Provide scientific responses to enquiries by internal and external customers.
- Represent at strategic meetings, MA meetings or subsidiaries.
- Monitor the medical content of marketing materials and take the role of the medical function in the sign off process of marketing materials.
- Manage Grifols Research programs, including ISR, RWE, Research Grants, Scientific Awards and educational grants.
- Partner with Patient advocacy, Regulatory and Market Access to support country /regional needs.
- Manage budget and ensure compliance with Grifols processes and regulations.

- You have a degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or Medicine. It will be an added value if you have a PhD, MD or PharmD with advanced knowledge in the respective scientific field.
- You have At least 4 years of experience in a similar regional Medical Affairs position in the pharma industry.
- You have expert knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical basics with highest ethical standards and scientific understanding (literature, clinical and basic research etc.).
- You have strategic thinking & influence and advanced communication and relationship building skills.
- You speak advanced level of English and Arabic.
- You have willingness to travel
