DISCOVER IMPACTFUL WORK:

We are looking for you to strengthen our Global Medical Affairs team within the Biomarker Business Unit as soon as possible.
In this position you will provide medical-scientific expertise on our BRAHMS biomarker portfolio particularly in the infection/sepsis field to national and international key opinion leaders and oversee the planning and execution of clinical trial activities at Global Medical Affairs.

A day in the Life:

  • You are part of a team that proves, documents and scientifically communicates / publishes the clinical performance and benefits of Thermo Fisher Scientific biomarkers.
  • You will use depth product knowledge to provide medical input to national and international key opinion leaders and various internal departments such as Marketing, Business Development, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance (primarily in English).
  • You will evaluate clinical study proposals, plan and oversee GCP-compliant clinical trial activities.
  • You will oversee the direction, planning and execution of scientific publications.
  • You will develop concepts for the topics of scientific events and symposia.
  • You will prepare and update documents for the performance evaluation of IVDs (e.g. literature search and evaluation, assessment of analytical and clinical performance).

Keys to Success:

  • university degree in biology, biochemistry; medicine or pharmacy.
  • Several years of professional experience in clinical trial management preferably in the field of IVD/biomarkers with profound knowledge in project management
  • Sound knowledge of IVD-R, MPG and ICH-GCP
  • Understand, integrate and effectively communicate scientific data on target therapeutic areas
  • Experience in clinical evaluations and biostatistics
  • Willingness to solve a wide range of tasks requiring flexible or systematic work with accurate documentation
  • very good communication skills
  • Strong self-motivation and enthusiasm with demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Basic understanding of diagnostic biochemical or immunological procedures as well as of IVD or biomarkers is an advantage
  • Knowledge of clinical procedures desirable
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel
