  • Permanent, part time (0.5FTE)
    Are you a NZ Registered Medical Imaging Technologist with Mammography experience, looking for a permanent part time opportunity allowing you to travel across the Northland region?
    BreastScreen Waitematā Northland is part of the Ministry of Health’s BreastScreen Aotearoa free national screening programme. We are looking for a passionate Medical Imaging Technologist with Mammography experience and flexibility to travel across the Northland region in our mobile unit, to join us on a permanent part time basis.
    Our ideal candidate will be either based in Northland, willing to relocate, or Auckland based and willing to commute to Northland each week.
    You will have a Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging or equivalent, registration with the NZMRTB and a current Annual Practicing Certificate, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography or a recognised Certificate in Proficiency in Mammography.
    In return, we offer the opportunity to work autonomously in the community, in an ever changing environment that visits 18 different sites in the beautiful Northland region. Generous travel allowances are included, as well as the potential for a relocation package if you are relocating more than 150kms for the position.
