What you get to do every single day
- Pinpoint the foundation of the denial and resolve the denial
- Study and investigate denial-of-payment bills received from the payer
- Thoroughly research denials using all provided tools and take action to resubmit bills for reimbursement
- Prepare for resubmission corrected bills for reimbursement
- Minimum of at least 2-3 years of experience within the revenue cycle
- Proven knowledge of insurance regulations and policies, payment policies/guidelines and the ability to communicate and work with payers to get claims resolved and paid accurately
- Customer service and office administrative skills
- Proven knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs)
- Proficiency in medical claims
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance claims
- Command of Microsoft Excel
- Previous denials management experience is valued
