As a Medical Laboratory Assistant in Blackrock Clinic, in your 37 hour week you will:

  • Assist laboratory scientific staff in the performance of pathology examinations under the supervision of a qualified medical scientist
  • Be responsible for correct sample handling, identification and registration
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and maintain records according to protocol
  • Be flexible and adapt to changing workloads
  • Follow good laboratory practice and work to ISO 15189 standards at all times

All if this will be applying your background in science, preferably a BSc in Biomedical or Biological Sciences. You’ll be working in a timely, accurate, and safe manner. Applying your scientific acumen and attention to detail.
