Medical Laboratory Assistant - Cellular Pathology

An opportunity is available to join the Cellular Pathology team at Princess Alexandra Hospital for a Medical Laboratory Assistant on a 1 year fixed term basis.
If successful, you will play an important part in contributing to the clinical care of patients within the hospital and the wider community.
If you are self-motivated and have great communication and customer service skills, we’d love to hear from you. Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous, but training will be provided if needed.

receipt of samples
preparation of specimens
maintenance of machines
washing laboratory glassware
ensuring stocks are maintained
cleaning the laboratory area
supporting the BMS team
Your work will provide an invaluable support function to other scientific staff within the department and should prove both interesting and challenging.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop’s Stortford, and St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping.
