We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.

NGA PŪKENGA MOTUHAKE | IMPORTANT SKILLS

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Registered as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
• Experience in Cervical cytology pre and post the new HPV primary screening era and Non-gynaecological cytology
• Knowledge, experience, and understanding of the new NCSP Clinical Practice Guidelines for cervical screening and the NCSP policies and standards for providing a laboratory service
• Completed the NCPTS HPV Primary Screening training modules/competencies and/or equivalent international experience
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management with a focus on quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and busy environment
