ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Scientist with current experience in Haematology and familiarity with NSW Health Pathology systems to backfill a part-time Medical Laboratory Scientist position up to March 2025.
Situated in the heart of Sydney, at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH), and part of NSW Health Pathology, the Haematology department provides specialised diagnostic haematology testing. The 24/7 laboratory provides full blood count analysis, specialised coagulation testing, morphology as well as specialised flow cytometry testing and thalassaemia screening.

Responsible for delivering a range of operational laboratory activities including the coordination and provisions of scientific and technical training and the ongoing review, development and quality management of laboratory practices to ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures, quality standards and continual process improvement.
