TE WHIWHINGA MAHI | THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician to join our Histology team at LabPlus
This full time role is based primarily in the Histopathology Team. This role covers all aspects of the routine Histology laboratory, including specimen receipt and registration, assisting in cut up, frozen sections, embedding, microtomy, special stains.

NGA PŪKENGA MOTUHAKE | IMPORTANT SKILLS
As the ideal candidate you MUST be registered as a Medical Laboratory Technician with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand and hold a current APC. You will have excellent communications and people skills, basic computer skills and the ability to adapt to a busy workplace.
This role requires good communication skills and a knowledge of analytical processes. Previous histology experience is preferred but not essential as comprehensive training will be given to the right person. You must have a strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and a can do attitude to work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
