ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Gosford Hospital Microbiology is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to fill full-time, part-time and casual positions. The microbiology laboratory is located at Gosford Hospital, the centre of the Central Coast Local Health District. The Central Coast is a popular coastal region attracting young families and retirees and experiences a higher-than-average population growth. Responsibilities:
Perform a range of laboratory investigations and tests (manual and automated) and technical tasks by applying established methods and procedures, as directed. Undertake other laboratory duties including preparation of materials and the maintenance of equipment in line with established laboratory processes, procedures and protocols.
