As the Medical Manager Nordics, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing medical workstreams that support the operational and strategic objectives of the region. You will lead a dedicated team of medical professionals, including a Medical Advisor and Clinical Specialists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical support and services across the Nordic region. You will join their dynamic team as they support a wide range of products for medication delivery from syringes to implanted catheters.
The Medical Manager is a member of the BD MDS Nordic Leadership Team and of the EMEA Medical Affairs leadership team. You can be based at our Nordic Headquarter in Stockholm or close to one of our subsidiaries in Oslo, Helsinki or Copenhagen. In this role, you will report to EMEA Director Medical Affairs with a dotted line to the Nordic Director with in the MDS business unit.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certified HCP, preferably MD with a background in Intensive Care/Anesthesia/Oncology or
- Master’s/PhD in Scientific Discipline.
- 3+ years leadership experience fostering team spirit and collaboration.
- Experience in acute healthcare environments and medical/clinical roles.
- Be comfortable meeting and discussing with C-Level decision makers and Key Opinion Leaders in the region.
- In-depth understanding of healthcare systems and medical device industry regulations.
- 50% travel, including overnight stays.
- Excellent organization and communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English and in one Nordic regional language.

Responsibilities:
- Leading, coaching, and developing the Nordic BD MDS Medical Team.
- Implementing Medical Affairs strategy across workstreams, including HCP consulting, education, KOL engagement, evidence generation, scientific exchange, medical services and business support.
- Collaborating with Nordic Commercial Teams for clinical activity prioritization.
- Developing strategies for advocacy and engagement with key opinion leaders and scientific societies.
- Coordinating clinical activities and product training delivery.Managing local evidence opportunities and supporting global initiatives.
