Description:

The Medical Receptionist at iTrust Wellness will play a pivotal role in the Outpatient Operations department by helping streamline patient care and ensuring that excellent customer service is provided all patients. The Medical Receptionist aids Providers and the iTrust Care team to support an outstanding and seamless patient experience.

Competitive Pay: $18-20 / hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am - 1:00pm.
PTO: Two weeks (10 days)

Role Overview:

  • Answering phone calls, emails, voicemails, and texts promptly and professionally
  • Writing emails, letters, texts, etc. in a clear, professional, and accurate manner
  • Properly scheduling and rescheduling appointments for patients
  • Proficiency with the electronic medical record system, we use Dr. Chrono
  • Collaborating with administrative staff and providers as a team
  • Promptly escalating patient issues and individual concerns to management
  • Maintaining our company culture and upholding our company values
  • Assist with staffing needs at other iTrust Wellness offices as applicable
  • Completing other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service in the medical field, preferably as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Patient-focused, positive approach toward patient care and excellent attitude.
  • Consistent reliability which includes arriving on time, working a full shift, and having excellent attendance
  • Professional attitude and communication, and the highest level of integrity.
  • Ability to prioritize needs and plan work accordingly
  • Initiative to go the extra mile with task completion.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA that informs decisions and actions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience operating within a healthcare office setting or experience as a pharmacy technician.
  • Interest in working with the mental health community.
  • Experience with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Experience with an EHR system.
  • Experience working in a high call and message volume environment
