- Managing 2 busy orthopaedic surgeons
- Solo Role
Our client, a leading orthopaedic practice located at Westmead. The practice is committed to providing exceptional service to their patients.
A unique opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and committed Personal Assistant to join their busy surgical practice on a temporary basis.
Working closely with the Surgeons, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Personal Assistant and secretarial support to the surgeon
- Scheduling patient consultations
- Administration of the front desk and patient clinics
- Ensuring medical records are managed confidentially and efficiently
- Patient invoicing and receipting, DVA, work cover, private health fund checks
- Liaising with other doctors, hospitals and medical representatives
- Theatre lists, ordering equipment, sending out the operating lists to hospitals and doctors
- Utilising Gentu software
To be successful for this position you will enjoy the responsibility of running a busy surgeons day with previous experience working in a surgical setting. You will be highly organised with an eye for detail and able tackle any task with strong follow through. You will be self-motivated and able to work autonomously. Additionally you will be an effective communicator committed to superior customer service and demonstrate empathy and compassion.
