Description:

  • Orthopaedic Surgeon
  • 3-4 Days per week
  • Darlinghurst Location
    Our client is a highly progressive Orthopaedic Surgeon located at St Vincent’s
    An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join an established and progressive surgeon. You will provide superior admin support to the Surgeon.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as first point of contact to patients
  • Managing inbound calls in a professional manner
  • Booking appointments for patients
  • General administration including patient accounts, banking procedures, account invoicing and debt collection
  • Chasing referrals and patient results
  • Health fund Checks
  • Hospital billings
  • Using patient management system and other electronic interfaces
  • Prepare patient surgery and information packs
  • Utilising Genie software
  • Assisting the Practice Manager as required

To be successful for this position you will ideally have previous experience in a similar role. You will have excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and establish efficient office systems. You will have proven ability to work in independently. You will have exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to providing premium customer service to patients.
