    Our client is a well established Specialist Practice and Day Surgery. They offer the latest technology and provide high quality care to their patients and staff.
    An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Medical Receptionist/Patient Administrator to join their team. You will provide superior customer service and admin support.

Working with a team of doctors, nurses and admin staff, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting and greeting of patients
  • Booking appointments and hospital procedures
  • Management of all patient data, correspondence
  • Invoicing and receipting of consultations
  • Providing explanations regarding procedures
  • Financial eligibility and admissions
  • Health fund billing
  • Preparing surgery and consult quotations
  • Fido or Profile experience advantageous

To be successful for this position you will ideally have previous experience in a similar role. You will have excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and establish efficient office systems. You will have proven ability to manage your own workload and work effectively in a small team environment. You will have exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will have a strong knowledge of Medicare and Health fund billing. Day surgery experience would be an advantage.
