Our client, is a well established specialist practice/day surgery, characterised by their high standard of professionalism and their patient focused approach.
Currently they have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Typist to join their team. You will be responsible for providing correspondence and clinical notes in an accurate and professional manner.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Typing of patient, procedure reports, follow up and end of treatment reports and clinical notes as dictated by the practitioners
- Maintain an accurate tracking system of patient medical records
- General duties of faxing, telephone enquiries
- Maintain a commitment to team work and demonstrate an ability to be an active and effective member of a team
To be successful for this position you will have previous experience in a similar role with demonstrated audio typing skills. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently. You will have the ability to interact with clients and clinicians in a professional manner. You will have a high attention to detail and good knowledge of medical terminology.
