We offer inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient options for individuals in the communities of the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas.
Job Description: Under the supervision of the Health Information Management Director, files patient records, assembles charts, checks for deficiencies, copies, answers correspondence and performs other Health Information Management functions as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Additional Requirements: Ability to work well with other people; physical and mental health to endure light work with moderate walking, standing and stooping; ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient data handled.
Experience: Previous hospital experience of two (2) years working as Health Information Management Clerk; accurate spelling
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Assembles discharged patient charts as per established department procedures.
  • Analyzes discharge patient charts as per established department procedures.
  • Retrieves charts for physician/clinician completion.
  • Assists in responding to requests for release of medical records and copying charts and portions of charts as directed by supervisor.
  • Files incomplete/ complete medical records.
