  • While prior experience in a private hospital setting is preferred, it is not essential.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.

Responsibilities:

As an administrative clerk within our medical records department, your role involves supporting the organised and efficient functioning of Health Information Services.

Reporting to the Health Information Manager, your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Addressing and resolving queries from both internal and external Health Professionals;
  • Compiling medical records of discharged patients into a standard order;
  • Handling Medico Legal requests within specified deadlines;
  • Ordering offsite records via online portals;
  • Preparing medical records for external scanning ;
  • Scanning loose sheets into the digital patient record
  • Retrieving on-site medical records for forthcoming admissions and record requests
  • Delivering medical to admissions, wards and clinical department
  • Conducting filing, archiving and “culling” of medical records
  • Utilising online patient administration system.
