Description:

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Medical Records Clerk in Racine, Wisconsin. This role revolves around the healthcare industry, where the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing all aspects of patient records. This includes tasks such as data entry, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle and process patient medical records with the utmost precision and confidentiality.
  • Utilize various EHR systems such as Allscripts and Cerner Technologies for record management.
  • Employ MEDITECH for maintaining and updating patient records.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and management, including creating charts and graphs for data visualization.
  • Assist in clinical trial operations, ensuring all records are well-organized and easily accessible.
  • Adhere to all compliance regulations and guidelines related to medical records management.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, adhering to HIPAA and other relevant guidelines.
  • Carry out data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to ensure all patient information is up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Regularly review and update records, removing outdated information and adding new patient data as necessary.
  • Proficient in using Allscripts and Cerner Technologies
  • Experience with EHR SYSTEM and MEDITECH
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including creating charts and graphs
  • Experience in Clinical Trial Operations
  • Knowledgeable in compliance regulations related to medical records
  • Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality
  • Proficient in data entry tasks
