Description:
We are offering an opportunity for a Medical Records Clerk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be in charge of handling and maintaining patient records in a healthcare setting. This position will involve significant data entry and compliance with confidentiality policies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage patient records according to industry standards and regulations
- Utilize various software applications such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, and Microsoft Excel
- Create, update, and organize charts and graphs to represent patient data
- Ensure compliance with regulations concerning patient confidentiality
- Perform data entry tasks to record and update patient information
- Assist with clinical trial operations as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accuracy and completeness of records
- Respond to requests for patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
- Maintain an understanding of current industry practices and regulations related to medical record keeping.
- Proficiency in Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to create and interpret Charts and Graphs
- Experience in Clinical Trial Operations
- Demonstrated understanding and application of Compliance procedures
- Ability to maintain Confidentiality in all job-related matters
- Strong Data Entry skills
- Familiarity with medical records and health information systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
