DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of proclaim or other software tools for example Adobe, Microsoft
  • Experience of reporting and data analysis tools (eg) Excel, Power BI)
  • Medical records handling and knowledge of healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To review medical records service/files before being sent to MLS clients, ensuring quality is of sufficient standard, the correct records have been obtained and that process is being adhered to.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE:

  • Performance of regular quality check and audit of products completed within MLS as required by client.
  • To complete agreed number of audits per team per month and keep documentary evidence reporting to Operations Manager, Medical Records Manager & Head of MLS.
  • Audit is to include a review of medical record collection process, file notes and communications with third parties.
  • Ensure that quality standards are observed though MLS.
  • Provide assurance that all products are to an agreed standard and work is completed within agreed SLAs.
  • Provide feedback and assist with training when needed to ensure improvements are made internally.
  • Provide recommendations for improvement should the same be noted upon audit.
  • Assist in the cultivation of relationships with MLS clients by ensuring quality of products.
  • Support the Operations Manager to provide monthly data and results of quality audit.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies across all departments of MLS.
  • Identify potential risk or areas of non-compliance and working with MLS management team, assist in taking corrective action.
