Medical Records Specialist

Location: Fully Remote (Must be based in the Philippines)
Work Hours: Full-Time, Tuesday to Saturday: 12:00 AM – 9:00 AM (Philippine Time)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or a related medical field is required.
• Proven experience as a Medical Records Specialist, Health Information Technician, or in a similar role.
• Experience with Filevine software is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare processes.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Organize and maintain patient medical records to ensure easy retrieval and confidentiality.
• Review records for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Enter patient information into EHR systems, maintaining both digital and physical files.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses and gather additional information.
• Ensure timely access to patient records for all healthcare providers.
• Adhere to legal standards for medical records and patient confidentiality.
