OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an in-person full time Medical Records Technician for our clinic in Anchorage, AK. Taking charge of the maintenance, filing, and quality control of patient records, including medical and occupational health testing records. Disburse patient test results and information to clients in adherence to established standards.

Administrative Proficiency: Leverage your proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe to manage both paper and electronic information. Demonstrate the ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform research and processing of requests for clients, third-party administrators, and private patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant administrative experience and 2 years in a customer service position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in the medical field preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Follow Standards of Care, Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics, and Policies and Procedures.
  • Comply with the regulatory agency rules and regulations to assure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Ensure that standards of care are met and procedures are followed.
  • Ability to perform and/or understand all technical aspects of service area (UA collections, BATs, audiograms, RMA/PFTs, FCEs, Fits, vitals, laboratory services, radiology services, EKGs, and overall patient triage).
  • Understanding of operating systems (Drug & Alcohol & OH systems).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
