Role details
The Health Information Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Medical Typist to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
As a Medical transcriptionist to provide the Specialist Medical Staff and associated departments with a high level of accurate, timely and confidential administrative support and secretarial service.
About the Team
Health Information Services (HIS) provides specialist services that embrace the overall commitment to the management and provision of quality patient information to the Mackay Hospital and Health Service.
The service is comprised of the following key areas: Health Information Management, Clinical Coding, Data Quality, Information Access, Scanning Unit, Medical Typing, Corporate Records, Mail Room, and the Switchboard. HIS reports to the Executive Director Corporate Services.
