Medior Technical Analyst (Cobol)_Channels (Corporate)

UniCredit is seeking a skilled Technical Analyst to join the Channels TA & PMT Team within the Group Technology Office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining Cobol applications to support Corporate Digital Channels. REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2-4+ years of proven experience as a Technical Analyst or similar role, with a focus on Mainframe technologies
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., DB2)
• Knowledge of COBOL, PL/1, Mainframe analyzing jobs, batch, scheduling processes
• Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Git, Jenkins) for collaborative development, version control, continuous integration
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Familiarity with networking protocols and infrastructural setups
• Proficiency with English language both spoken and written
• Experience with the management of applications with a large user base

• Estimate effort for development activities
• Support maintenance activities such as second level support and cartographic update of applications in charge
• Document technical specifications, procedures, and guidelines to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies to increase productivity and quality of deliverables
• Proactively identify opportunities for optimization to enhance customer experience
• Adhere to UniCredit’s policies and procedures, including security guidelines and coding standards, to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information
