Job Title: Meeting and Events Operations Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £45,000 per annum plus bonus
A prestigious luxury hotel located in the heart of Birmingham city centre, renowned for their impeccable service, elegant accommodation, and exquisite dining experiences, is looking for an experienced and motivated Meeting and Events Operations Manager to join the dynamic team and oversee all aspects of the meeting and event operations, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale venue.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and executing a wide range of meetings and events, from small corporate gatherings to large-scale conferences and weddings.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of meetings and events operations
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring that all requirements are met and exceeded.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all departments to enhance the overall guest experience and drive repeat business.
- Lead and motivate a team of event staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensure that all events are executed according to established standards and procedures, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
