JOB OVERVIEW

The Meister Electrician has expertise in the electrical sector, particularly in relation to high- and low-voltage electrical systems and power supply, including back-up and backup systems. He/she is also registered with the Chamber of Crafts as a craft operations manager and thus assumes technical responsibility for the corresponding systems within the Mities’s area of responsibility. In addition, the holder of the post is considered to be a concessionaire for the field of electrical engineering and has been appointed as the responsible electrician (vEFK).

• Co-ordinate the repair and maintenance tasks with employees and contractors.
• Plan, perform or adequately delegate regular safety briefings and Tool Box Talks.
• Performing all administrative tasks required by the business.
• Task tradesmen and / or subcontractors to ensure contractual and / or legal deadlines are achieved.
• Comply with Mitie operating guidelines, especially with regard to occupational safety “Zero Harm”.
• Supervise work orders (from own staff and contractors) on quality, adherence to deadlines and requirements, as well as on observance of occupational safety guidelines.
• Comply with given KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
• Work in close consultation with other internal and external agencies, e.g. Store, procurement team, etc to ensure smooth operations.
• Acts in consultation with the Site Manager according to the budget and delegation.
• Monitoring of the provided equipment and tools (condition, function and Inspection.
