Description:

WILL YOU ACTIVELY CREATE A HEALTHIER FUTURE FOR TOMORROW?

At Medibank we’re encouraged to think big. We have a clear purpose to impact better health outcomes for our customers, patients and our community.
We celebrate diversity of thought because we want to make better decisions for our customers. As we work towards our goal of better health for better lives, we value the knowledge and contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. We are working hard to create an inclusive workplace and develop Indigenous careers.
We are on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Marketing Specialist to join our Essential Communications team on a 12 month, fixed term basis.
With a focus on customer experience, the primary purpose of this role is to support the delivery and amplification requirements for the high-profile Premium Review project. This will include multi-channel activities, as well as end-to-end member communications delivery.
As part of the CARE (Compliance and Regulatory Essentials) squad you’ll work collaboratively with stakeholders, and across other Hubs, to deliver end-to-end campaigns and projects. Working with the team you’ll provide clear advice and support as well as quality project and delivery plans. Your stakeholders will include CARE Squad members, our in-house creative studio, data and automation teams, legal, fund policy, digital and fulfilment teams.

Day to day, this role would see you:

  • Deciding if your day is best spent working from home or the office. We don’t go for mandated office attendance here at Medibank, but we will need you to come along to team days and events when they’re on.
  • Working alongside project team to deliver high profile Premium Review project including supporting amplification activity.
  • Addressing compliance and mandatory notification requirements, ensuring risks are managed and appropriate approvals are in place.
  • Gaining input and approval from team members and key-stakeholders to deliver multi-channel campaign activity.
  • Implementing enhancements to communications and marketing processes, devising solutions for member pain points and assisting with the delivery of priority compliance projects.
  • Managing the execution of new and updated member communications across multiple channels including collateral, digital, email, post and sms.
  • Measuring and continually optimising communication effectiveness and and reporting on business impacts post implementation eg – NPS, lapse rate, complaints.
  • Taking some time to recharge your batteries and encouraging others to do the same – you might grab a takeaway coffee and head out for a walking one on one with a team member, get to the gym for a lunchtime class or block out calendar time to attend to your childs school assembly.

What about you?
This role would be a perfect match for an experienced Specialist with a focus on mandatory communications, looking to grow their career with a large organisation. We will need you to bring your strong end to end campaign management and delivery experience along with a willingness to think ahead to pro-actively problem solve and contribute to the team. You’ll need to be a pro at pivoting – this is a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly, so you need to be comfortable with juggling.
An effective communicator, you will be able to engage with a range of stakeholders to achieve great results for the business.

Other must haves for the role include:

  • Experience in a highly regulated, high profile brand environment.
  • Experience in a data driven Marketing campaign role.
  • Project management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including ability to create a compelling message and production of briefing documents.
  • Experience using Adobe AEM web building software a plus.
